Fiona Bastow is a Sunshine Coast based artist who uses the materiality of oil paint to play with the interface between abstract and representational art; often blurring, dissolving and partly erasing the image on the canvas. Shadows, silhouettes and reflections emerge from layers of saturated colour.
Fiona’s work will be available through Studio One Noosa at the Affordable Art Fair in Brisbane 7-10 May 2026.
